Default headlight switch

need a little help here. i have a 95gt and the headlight switch plugs into an outlet of some sort. mine is literally melted (the plug not the headlight switch) and i need to replace it. is this sold somewhere and what exactly is it called? thanks.

i had to replace the headlight switch in my 87 gt for the sameproblem it melted. what i didwas i went on ebay type in head light switch and the year. good luck ive been there its no fun having no car at night

oyea and the outlet of some sort is called the wire harness

go to a ford dealership, they have a book w/ a bunch of connector ends, you should be able to pic out the connector you need, and its not alot of money

cool, i appreciate everyone's help. my lights would stay on, but the dash lights would go out, when the dash lights go out so do your tail lights (which a police officer was kind enough to pull me over to inform meand write me a ticket for) so i would have to do a mini-break tork all the way home when someone was in back of me so they could see me. i stuck a small screwdriver into the harness to push all the connectors onto the headlight switch and no im not proud of that. time to fix it for good. thanks again.
