Default What happened, Clutch Question

OK, so I had a King Cobra clutch installed a couple weeks ago (Like 300 miles). At first the pedal had no play and was quite stiff. Then I drove it home from college(2 hours drive) and now it has alot of play (Like 3 inches), and barely disengages at the floor, but I cna get it in and out of gear ok. Can anyhelp help with get it back to no play in the pedal??? The only thing that isn't OEM is the clutch itself. Factory quadrant and cable.

I was thinking about getting this kit, but I haven't heard good things about adjustable cables, should I avoid that and stick with a OEM cable, as I have heard in the past???

Or maybe the Steeda one with the non-adjustable cable as see below???

All of the recognizable names are pretty good. I have a UPR and my buddy has a STEEDA and neither of us have ever had any complaints.
