Default Idle Problems!!!!!!!

Ok Im having trouble with my idle. It idles fine when you first start the car but after it gets warmed up it wont idle. Starts surging till it dies. It wont idle properly till you let it completely cool down. Any ideas? I have set my iac. I take it to the drag strip and when i get to the traps and kick it neutral it just dies. Thanks for any help

You didn't mention if this started right after the H/C/I or if it was laterbut did you check to make sure the EGR was reconnected.
Is CE on.
Did you check to make sure the vacuum lines to the upper intake were reconnected after the swap. I
s the PCV plugged in (another vacuum issue).
Just some places to start.

sounds like a vacum leak just check all the intake hoses for cracks , also u might need this plate to put in between your iac and the egr spacer, its to give more air when changin h/c/i its at www.mustangunlimited.com

My car has the same problem. What headers are you running? I had shorty headers and a Trick Flow stage 1 cam in this short block and all I had to do to get it to idle was drill a 1/4" hole in the throttle body blade and it fixed it. Then I put long tubes onand a bigger cam in and it will surge up and down until it dies no matter what you do. I put that plate that goes between the IAC and throttle body and that didn't help either. I can only get it to idle if it is set at 1100rpm.
