are you using 90degree spark plug boots or straight boots? i had the same problem with straight boots so i switched to ford racing wired and it solved the problem

what size and angle are the ford racing boots? the ones that i have right now are more like 130 degrees.

gt 40 heads will have 3 raised lines clearly cast into the front and rear of the head, gt40p will have 4 lines. Look behind the a/c comp. at the front of the heads, should be there if it is either.

they are a little bigger than 90degrees, something like 100degrees but they just barely clear my MAC headers so im sure 130 would touch the header
