Default WC T-5 or NWC T-5

my original tranny gave up (4th and Reverse)so i´m switching it for a 88 i have on the garage,a guy says to have a 84 and it has bronze sincros so wich is better??
wich would handle more abuse, me like to powa shift!!the 84 isfrom acoupe that had a best time of 11.20 with a 351 bored .60 trickflows, eddy victor junior, holley 750 and a 150 shot of NOS

astro makes good stuff, i have their stock spec one, no complaints here at all, id reccomend them... any questions about them just ask me...

or just get the one u have rebuilt... the NWC t-5's are junk i agree with adder... the stock T-5 will handle more than 80% of the people on here throw at it. how ever the worst thing u can do for a tranny (except run them w/o fluid) is to "powa shift" a t-5 will not handle it, same goes for most trannys.... this is why import guys have tranny problems after 50,000 miles. they all think u have to power shift a car to go fast

I'll vouch for Astro. Got my flywheel from them. Had some fitment issues, but Tony was quick to remedy them.
