ORIGINAL: wildsurfer92
okay guys well i broke off a peice of my broken bolt remover in the timing cover, and i had to go jump in the tow truck and tow it down to a shop where the guy said oh no problem i have a special drill bit to drill out the hardened steel...and of course he couldnt so he decided to use a torch, and of course he melted the timing cover...man aluminum and steel have different melting temps!? who knew!! so this guy used some "aluminum epoxy" and remade the ear to the timing cover and tapped it out, so i got everything put back together yesterday morning and put on all my new goodies...so its in the shop right now getting a new clutch cable, firewall adjuster and double hook clutch quadrant from steeda put on, so when i get it back, ill post some pics of everything!
