Why would you want a 700hp daily driver?
Yeah, why wouldnt you? I'm expecting 675-700hp flywheel and while its not
my DD it definitley could be

I'm going to use A1000 pump with -8 feed and -6 return
with stock tank using pick-up that replaces stock in-tank pump assembly

I think I am with 93must on this one. Street drivable 700hp sure, that's pretty cool. But a daily driver, yea probably not...

Looks like the A1000 pump seems to be the one to get.

care to elaborate?

r.barn....is this the pickup your going to use? http://www.cartech.net/instrucfuelputube.htm

the car only has to be a daily driver for 2 more years. by then ill have a real job that pays good money. tonight is my last test of college!!! [sm=happy046.gif] so time to start making money.
and although my car is a daily driver, i only drive about 150miles a week. since my g/f and i do everything together, she usually drives.

Couple of people make those pick ups
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...1&comp=LRS
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...45015_-1_10019

replace stock pump with one of those ^^^^
put a 100micron wire screen in-line filter before the pump
and a 10mircon paper in-line filter after the pump

not sure on how the wiring is going to work, but havent looked either.

I didnt say it couldnt be done r.barn! If its so much fun to do then why dont you do it? I live in the real world where it rains and snows! If you like driving a 700hp car in those conditions your super!
Are you even going to have the twin turbos on it in the near future to where you have to drive it every day like that, or are you just looking at when you get it done? My guess is you wont even have that set up until your out of college and working! Even if you did im pretty sure your not going to drive it every day! Still know one has answered the question on why you would want to drive a car like that every day?

geezz, where to start with this guy ............................

1. I am doing it. TT install starts next weekend, I now have ALL the parts including both turbos sitting here.
2. who said I drive in the rain and snow?
3. I said this is not my DD already but I do drive it a solid 50% of the time
4. I am out of college and working and well off, I have 2002 Tahoe to drive also and plane to fly when I want to go 200+mph
5. And yes I would drive it everyday.......

There is always consession to bad weather with sport cars, I didnt drive my stang in the rain
when it had stock 225hp engine in there.

and you would want to drive a car like that every day because it would be FUN AS SH*T

i live in so. cal. i dont even know what rain is lol. and i have never seen snow in my life so im not worried about the conditions.

who ever said anything about remote turbos and sts? not me

i like the cartech pickup because it uses a factory style screen in the tank. it also has -8 fittings just like my filter has, and -8 is what i will be running from the rear to the front. i just wish that A1000 pump was the same. oh well. a couple reducer fittings and ill be fine.
