i just dont know what to do with the 86 cause im hearing nothing good about them. no h/c/i set really works because of the flat-top pistons....

heres ur chance of stroking the damn thing! im partial to 331 myself. get new rods, pistons, rings, and crank. go with a I beam setup b/c the stock block will break before those rods will. setup up for 9 to 9.5 CR at the max if u plan on force induction later on. if u KNOW u will stay n/a go with a 10 to 10.5 CR. (the Compression Ratio depends mainly on the pistons dish and head chamber size in cc's. more cc's in the combustion chamber means lower CR. just fyi incase u didnt kno.
