in fact i'm doing it right now, i'm swapping out the clutchpacks in the carrier.... putting everything back together tomorrow.

in 28 spline? not that i know of, 50resto claims they have 'hardened steel 25%stronger than stock' ...i wouldn't get my hopes up about that.
let me know how that turns out and so you're saying the ranger axles are the same if not stronger then the mustang axese? [&:]

i'm pretty sure they're the same as stock, i have both of them side by side in the shed and they look indentical except for the extra lug. i know alot of people here are running the ranger axles, hopefully one of them can confirm it or not.

31 spline axles are stonger than 28, but they're not a direct swap.

I bought that 50resto 5 lug conversion. My wheels fit on there just fine, except the center cap on my wheels wouldn't fit on the front because of the dust cap on the rotors. I drove with no centercaps on my front wheels for like a year before I ended up buying a set of 97 mustang spindles, brakes, etc...

ehh, i changed my mind, found out the shop im getting my rearend done at can get a 5 lug swap and do all that ****, all i have to get is the wheels

BTW, im going with 3:73's
