50resto 5 lug conversion
ORIGINAL: HC_CrAzYHoRsE
in fact i'm doing it right now
, i'm swapping out the clutchpacks in the carrier.... putting everything back together tomorrow.
in 28 spline? not that i know of, 50resto claims they have 'hardened steel 25%stronger than stock' ...i wouldn't get my hopes up about that.

and so you're saying the ranger axles are the same if not stronger then the mustang axese? [&:]
i'm pretty sure they're the same as stock, i have both of them side by side in the shed and they look indentical except for the extra lug. i know alot of people here are running the ranger axles, hopefully one of them can confirm it or not.
31 spline axles are stonger than 28, but they're not a direct swap.

I bought that 50resto 5 lug conversion. My wheels fit on there just fine, except the center cap on my wheels wouldn't fit on the front because of the dust cap on the rotors. I drove with no centercaps on my front wheels for like a year before I ended up buying a set of 97 mustang spindles, brakes, etc...
ehh, i changed my mind, found out the shop im getting my rearend done at can get a 5 lug swap and do all that ****, all i have to get is the wheels
BTW, im going with 3:73's
