Default 351w ???'s

There is a kid down the road that has a old ford f150 with 351w and a valve is stuck. He said he would sale the whole truck for 200.00. Will my turbo kit fit 351 heads, and will my 5.0 intake and all the fuel injection stuff fit onto it or is the heads different. If this wont work what is it going to take to make this work.

the 351w heads have larger valves, so dont use 5.0L heads on a 351. also you cant use the intake from a 5.0L becasue the 351 is wider so it wont fit.

351w heads (most of them) are just as bad as 302 heads... In fact they are the same heads...
You may as well just use the stock 302 heads that you have, but you will need to drill the head-bolt holes up to 1/2"

The 5.0 intake will not fit, because the 351w is wider. Several aftermarket companies make very good intakes for the 351w.

Most all of the EFI will swap directly, with no problems...

The turbo kit could be tricky, depending on how much room you have under the hood now.
If you have more than an inch of clearance between the exhaust and the inner fenderwells, you should be fine.
Another potential problem area is the trans tunner, due to the 351w being taller.
Regardless, it would be worth sorting out these problems.

Here is some more info on the 351w Fox body swap...
