Default help! good deal or no?

hey guys. im new here and dont yet have a 5.0. my friend is selling me his but i wanna make sure im gettin a good deal. its a 95 hardtop with newer purple/blue paint, rebuilt auto tranny w shift kit, and the motor runs great...it dosent smoke or make any strange noises(other than belt squeal because the belt is pretty worn, easy fix tho) it does have high miles, 160xxx, but you cant tell from driving it. my question is am i getting ripped or not? the only negatives are the miles, the front bumper has a crack and is pretty scratched up from an impact with a ditch, and the drivers seat wont go forward and is stuck all the way back. thanks for the help guys!

yeah i now notice i forgot to put in the price. he's asking 2900. and the ditch was just from pulling over on the side of the road in the winter and sliding in. didnt hit it at anymore than 10 mph so nothings messed up other than the front bumper.

winter driven car with 160k on it, check for rust.

maybe post some pics if you can.
2900 sounds ok if it runs good and is somewhat clean.

if your having a shop look at it, definatly look underneath.
and while you are under there, take a look at the torque boxes. that is where the rear lower control arms bolt up to the body. they are box shaped, and they are VERY prone to cracking along the seams, from extended abuse.

looks pretty clean though, i think it will be a good deal as long as the underside looks good.

I paid $2700 for my '92 and it had some rust issues.
