Default Melted fuel line

I've had a poorly installed exhaust pipe melt the fitting where the fuel return line (the one not attached to the fuel filter) meets the steel line just above and in front of the fuel tank. It's leaking fuel real good.
Now that it's melted, how do I get thefitting off of the steel line? What part do I ask for? Am I gonna have to replace the line all the way to the tank(have to drop tank)?

Tanks alot.

If its like the plastic line i dont think you can reattach a fitting to it, they are i think factory molded on.

you cant you'd have to get the whole new line, i think Ford or a junkyard are the only places to get it thats why i just got carb line

Yep. Parts store cried 'dealer' and the line/fitting/hose melted together anyway. I've had to cut both line and hose, so fitting won't fit w/o new steel line - not gonna happen. Hello fuel line and clamps.

Tanks again guys.
