It may be as simple as install the first ring and make sure the pin is slide all the way against the first pin. If you are assembling the engine yourself. I'd assume you're past advice like this. If so,.....
Get out some measuring tools. Your wrist pin must be shorter than the inside shoulder, to inside shoulder of the grooves that hold the snap rings. If you manage to force the snap rings into place and the wrist pinis too long.It will not floatfreely.

well seeing as how im guessing the pins came with the pistons like they should, and the clips came with the pistons like they should......... i dont see why he is having this problem[&:][&:][&:]

whats up man , seems like u hit a little hard spot. so your gettin close and getting the motor together. some things came up and im a little behind schedule on mine. wanted done by summer, ha ha now. just got my gears last week. dont know why i waited so long.
