Default RE: stock 5.0 block with main support system and valley girdle support

there are a people running 600hp on the stock block with no supports....its called luck of the draw. some blocks are better then others, no getting around it. main girdles keep the internals safe when the stock block splits and it will also keep the main caps from walking. the valley girdle is a waste. 4 tiny little bolts hold it in place. your lower intake has 8 or something bolts per side. the lower intake is the same thing as a valley girdle.
