So I need you guys advice. Right now my motor combo consists of GT-40 heads, what I think is an E cam from what the previous owner told me and a regular Edelbrock performer Intake. I was offered a brand new RPM II intake for 495 dollars from abuddy of a buddy and was wondering if that was a good deal. Also, with my setup do you think that the Intake upgrade will help or hurt my performance if put on the car with my current combination of cam and heads. Thanks for your advice!

You might see a gain on the top end some, but its definitly not worth spending almost 500 with the heads and cam that you have.

how much can the performer be sold for? if you can recoup half of the money or somewhere around there i'd grab it. it can always help ya even more later.

what do these things cost new anyways?
