is there anyway to identify a roller cam on a 351w block from the numbers? thanks

351w roller block = F4TE casting #........however, you could have a roller cam installed on the non-roller ready blocks with linked lifters......

well i went to a wrecking yard and there was about 5 94+ ford trucks with 5.8s but i just wanted to make sure they were hydraulic roller blocks. so where abouts do i look for this number?

if its a 94, you can pretty much bank on it being an F4TE block

even out of a bronco? also what would the number be if it was a non roller? just so i know.
