Default Nitrous Camshaft

just a quick question about the Comp Cams nitrous HP camshaft.

summit says:

"A Comp Cams Nitrous HP camshaft is designed to work with your nitrous system to get more power from your engine. The unique intake lobes allow your engine cylinders to fill better for more complete combustion. Meanwhile, the exhaust lobes are spread to decrease overlap and assure maximum scavenging of your combustion chamber. The bottom line is an increased power boost from your nitrous system without any loss of throttle response or torque in street applications. "

my question goes out to anyone that either has this cam or knows of someone that does or that just simply knows about the cam specifically, i just wanted to know if the cam is worth getting, its listed for only $120.00, and whether theres the same performence gains that youd gain from a regular cam as well. also maybe some #s in performence gains maybe even with the nitrous?

any opinions?

i only ask this because i'm gonna be rebuilding my motor with beefier gaskets and forged pistons and running a whole bunch of nitrous and any extra boost in HP and TQ would be nice, and for $120 it doesnt seem like a bad deal to me!

i'm going with the ZEX nitrous system and i'm planning on adjusting it to run a 125 shot.

is that enough for the cam?

best thing to do is call any of the cam companies like Comp or Crane and tell the tech guy exactly what you're trying to do and they can recommend the best cam for your application.
