Default hci question need help please

I have a co worker that has a 331 with dart windsor heads that are fresh rebuilt. A ford racing x cam and a gt 40 manifold. I'm intrested in purchasing the hci from him. He said 100 for the cam. And he doesn't know about the rest. He has all this in his car and it's fast! My question is, is this a good set up and what's a good price? Thanks for the help in advance

Sounds like a good setup. Good price, well I guess it depends on what he's got done to the other parts.

its an ok combo. if youre gonna be turnin more than 5500 rpms that gt 40 is gonna old you back a little, but depends on the price if its worth it or not

Well it looks like he wants a 1000 for all of it. Is that fair price. Heads are fresh and cam has 1300 miles on it. Do those heads flow good? He says that there iron. I just wanted to get some input on the heads.

idk ide put a couple extra bucks into some new stuff and prob do better.
$255 for comp cam that i have
$500 for trickflow upper and lower manifolds or $600 for Edelbrock RPM2 manifolds
$1,282 for Edelbrock RPM heads 2.02 intake valves .575 max lift 1500-6500rpms shipped from jegs.
u can get some cheaper heads for like $800 i think
but AFR, Eddy, and TF alum. heads should be between $1,200 and $1,400.

i laugh at the 5500 rev limit with the gt40 heads, since my early 351w headed 302 would absolutely scream up to the 7k redline and just wannnna go higher. did i mention the gt40 heads flow a little bit better than my early 351w heads too?
