when im idleing my car will jump up to 1500 and then go back down fast and then just up again to 1500 anyone know what it is

hmm dont know havent tried it yet just noticed it when it was cold, do you think it is the IAC if so do i have to replace or what

could be that or dirty fuel injectors. check the iac with a voltemeter.

sorry im a nub how do i check it with a voltemeter any tutorials or is it easy to explain

its not the IAC its the TPS you need to chech with a meter

you can always try cleaning it out with some carb/choke cleaner, the cardon build up can make your IAC act wierd, its just two bolts that hold it on, make sure not to crack the gasket when you do take it off and just spray the ***t out of it.
