My friend has a 02 GT and when he hits the breaks when going at a high speed this sound comes from the back of the car that sounds like a Cicada, its been doing this 4 awhile, i was wondering what would cause this do this whether its the fuel pump or brakes?

 

The sound only happens when he uses the breaks and you blame the fuel pump which is on 100% of the time?[&:][&:][&:]

 

idk, it sounded like it was coming from the fuel pump, im baffeled by or where its from
