1990 MUSTANG LX QUESTION
I GOT A 1990 MUSTANG LX WITH 45000 ORIGINAL MILES. 2ND GEAR WENT IT NEEDS A TAIL LIGHT AND SOME HEADLIGHT PIECES AND A CLUTCH AND SOMTHING IN THE REAR END WHEN I TURN IT MAKES A SCRAPING NOISE, ANYWAY THE UNDERCARRAGE AND FLOOR BOARDS ARE BRAND NEW THE WHOLE CAR IS ABSOLUTELY SOLID NOT A SPEC OF RUST ANYWHERE FLORIDA CAR ITS WHOLE LIFE THEN GARAGED EVERYDAY WHEN IT GOT TO MASS, I TOOK THE INTERIOR OUT BECAUSE I BOUGHT ANOTHER MUSTANG AND THE LX BLACK INTERIOR WAS BRAND NEW NOT A SCRATCH SO THE CARS GUTTED OUT ECCEPT THE DASH AND CENTER CONSOLE I HAVE ALL THE INTERIOR FROM THE OTHER CAR STILL BUT ITS AN UGLY RED. JUST WONDERING IF I SHOULD TURN THE CAR INTO A DRAG CAR OR JUST NOT BOTHER WITH IT AND USE IT FOR PARTS, OR JUST FIX IT WITH NEW INTERIOR, OR WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH IT? ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED

RE: 1990 MUSTANG LX QUESTION
keep the car, make a drag car down the road, if you have a 1990 factory black dash and console they are worth 500-600 if in good shape and got armrest, glove box etc. no guage cluster though

RE: 1990 MUSTANG LX QUESTION
i'd say use it for parts, or use it as a side car project. dragging the car can really in the end waste that model. i mean, they dont make then like that anymore. cost wise and heartache wise, i wouldnt drag it out, it wouldnt be worth it in the end. besides if you gather the parts you need to fix it up the rest of the way, you can sell it and make a crap load off it in a couple years once it becomes antique. just my opinion.
