Default Hurst Short Throw

Looking for a Hurst short throw shifter (chrome w/ white ****) that comes with the boot/cover plate in the kit for my 89'. The kits I'm finding don't seem to come with the boot/cover plate. Anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks guys.

I haven't seen any aftermarket short throws that come with a boot. You'll have to buy one seperately. But why buy ahurst when you could have this http://mgwltd.com/mustang_1990-2004.shtml

I think I had the one you are talking about in my 89. It wasn't an actual short throw...just the chrome stick, white **** , and cover plate with rubber boot. Ordered it from Performance Automotive Warehouse a few years ago. Around $70.00. Not to discourage you but I didn't really like it. The boot looked kind of cheap, imo. That and the stick stuck up quite a bit higher than the stock one. It's more of a look for a vintage car.

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll have to buy them separately. I appreciate the advice about the othershifters available and realize the hurst might not be the most effective, but the hurst short throw will be a big improvement over stock and I love the look. Summit has them for $190.

Thanks again fellas.
