lol so what can i use to check my ground? a dummy light, and from where can i get a hot source to check it with? will there be one close by, like in the harness? and if its the fusible link, just cut it out and replace it with a new one?

yup pretty much.

as far as testing, use a test light. in the clip on the test light, run a wire to the positive side of the battery. then just touch the ground wire. if the ground is any good, the light will turn on.

easiest way to check ground at the tank is to jump power to the output side of the inertia switch harness... if the pump turns on, you know your ground is ok

ok had a thought. the wires to the pump run up through the trunk pan so there wont be a need to look for a ground underneath will there?
