my 85 gt vert has had hell of a vibration to it in 2nd and 3rd gear specially when slowing down . its been doing this ever since took to drags few weeks ago and thought tranny was fckd . but today the clutch decided to go out on me . ok guy here is the question could all of that vibration been from jus the clutch and maybe tranny is still ok . it would grind in 2nd in 3rd also at high rpm . that vibration tho was pure hell and sounded like sht .

i dont know . like yesterday if i was running bout 35 in 2nd gear and let off gas it sounded like hell inside my tranny or the clutch . and the shifter would shake like hell also . thats why i was thinking maybe my tranny is junk but today clutch went out so that made me thinking . and thats why im here asking u guys lol .

ewwwwwwwww sht i didnt wanna hear that lol . i have a guy wanting to trade me a 95 thunderbird with 4.6 in it even up for my car way it sets so im thinking bout jus saying hell with it and do that then sell that car and buy another stang except next one wont be a damn vert .

well no kind clutch right now lol . car is 100% stock and im sure it was stock clutch also and with 165,000 miles on it well figured it would go soon anyways . and with my heavy right foot and like blowing off back tires im sure that didnt help any either lol

nope... probably didnt help much at all..
it's worth the money to put a new clutch in, you can do a stock replacement VERY cheap... especially when it comes down to being able to sell your car, get a thunderchicken, which you can then sell.. and get a EFI fox...
