just installed my 70mm MAF on my stock 88 GT and now my check engine light is on, i thought these are plug and go. i also want to install my cold air intake and 70mm throttle body and cobra intake and my under drive pullies, does it have to be customed tuned.

do a search on here and check for how to pull codes, then follow that procedure to see why the lights on, or maybe clear it out. did you turn the key on with the MAF unplugged?? that would definitely give a CEL on a newer car, don't know about an 88.
the other parts you've got -- you can throw them on and see how it runs. if it runs bad, then yeah -- tune it. your sig says you've got a chip already, what's it tuned for??
