Default 5.0 + cam =overheating?

A guy told me today that if you put any cam other than very very mild your 5.0 will over heat. Is that true? Ive always heard of every one using big cams like e303 and the x303 but would they overheat. I need to know before i get one.

He's on crack. It MIGHT raise it if youre constantly gettin on it, cuz you will be supplying more A/F. And unless youre injected, you dont want the E303, thats more for EFI cars. You want more duration for carbed applications. A B303 with 1.72 rockers would be a better choice. But the TFS stage 1 would be even better yet.
