Default 1980 manual rack and pinion
i want to get rid of my power steering and go with a manual steering rack. someone told me that i can buy a manual rack for a 1980 mustang at a discount auto parts store for cheap, and thatit would bolt rite up to my 87, this guy also said the only thing i would need to change is my steering shaft. is this true? has anyone ever heard of this? or is it a lie??

alright cool, and does anyone know how much it weighs compared to the flaming river rack? i believe the fr weighs 15 pounds.

probably need new tie rod ends as well
and new urethane rack mounting bushings arent a bad idea either
