My drive side power window on my 91 lx just all of a sudden stopped working. I know it is getting power at least to the switch because when i press it the voltage needle moves on my instrument panel. I took the door panel off and wiggled the wires and nothing. anyone have any idea what might be the problem???

 

***** ingearbox(head of motor)may be locking down and not allowing motor to turn it. Need new ones that they sell at most auto parts stores in the help section.

 

Just get the small nylon bushings for it or just some some 5/16"-18 nuts. You'll need 6 nuts if you go that route.

 

Its probably easier than that, Take the motor loose from the door and run it, I bet it will work, then grease it good and the tracks and anywhere things move,and grease things good,my 84 does it from time to time and it always fixes it and they are original.
