Default exhaust leak at flange between h-pipe and manifold...

My exhaust is leaking at the flange between the headers and h-pipe. I've heard you can use a copper sealant on the flange and it seals it up? Anybody ever try this?

Hmmm... I'm hoping the bolts are just a little loose then, I recently had my uncles shopput the motor and trans in (bought it as a roller) and lets just say I'm not impressed with the quality of workthey do.

If the bolts are indeed tight do you have any hints on how to stop the leakage?

Copper RTV would work in a pinch, but fix it properly.

I'm going to take it to the local shop tomorrow for new tires and a front end alignment, while its there I'll have them check out the the bolts and see if they are loose... The car has a flowmaster american thunder series cat back and would probably sound have way decent one the leak is fixed...
