anyone ever done this?
my 5.0 recently reached 100k miles and i figure im about to bolt on alot of top end horse so im gonna rebuild the motor and bore it 30 over, so has anyone ever paid a machine shop to do just the labor because i plan on buying the parts from summit.
what does anyone whos never done it think also?

a 5.0 at 100k isnt old, you really dont have to get it rebuilt. Id put the parts on myself, appreciate it more. Plus youd have a better chance of trouble shooting it cause you know what you did and didnt do
