Youre not going to need that fancy clutch to hold 300rwhp or 400 for that matter. Get a HEAVY DUTY F150 clutch disk. They have more springs in the friction disc so it grips better. Itll cost ya a whoppin 30-40 bux. I put one in my '79 stang, it gripped so well that eventually it wound up getting cracks through the flywheel. But it NEVER slipped.

PS: It does increase pedal pressure though.

I am also happy with my Spec, I have the stage 2 but I'm pretty sure the stage 1 is rated to 410tq.

You guys are just wasting your money........ Ford makes parts thatll bolt right on to your car that are rated way higher than mustang parts. My 79 stang had 420 ft/lbs of torque, and the clutch NEVER slipped. I also used the F150 pressure plate, that upped the pedal effort considerably but it wasnt too hard.

the stage 1s seem to be rated a little too low, I just don't want to have to do it again
