RE: Rear seat removal
to get the bottom out, you have to push it down and pull it forward a bit, kinda jiggle it out, thats all it took for me, the bottom is only held on by two clips on the floorboard. now the seatbacks, I have no idea

RE: Rear seat removal
just did this on my 93
i assume u want the hatch carpet out too, theres really no choice since u have to unbolt it to take the seats out anyway.
right between the quarter panels and the seats, there is a 16mm bolt. its a bitch to get out since the more u unthread, the tighter it gets.
now where the seats meet, there is a bracket that is held down by 2, 12mm bolts i believe. the back one is a bitch to get at.
the arms that stretch the seats when folded on the side are held down by a bracket under the carpet, these needs to come off.
and lastly the carpet is just bolted down ontop.
took me about 20 minutes and i had no idea wat i was doin
