This cant be normal!!!!
well the problem is that my clutch pedal is very hard but what is weird is that sometimes it will get fairly soft for a day then out of no where or if im in heavy traffic it gets extremly hard to the point where i belive the cable is going to snap. I removed the cable last week and it moves freely its not being pinched anywhere so what do you guys think is wrong???? please all info is appreciated.
check to see if the cable is rubbing near your header. spray some lube into the cable to keep it moving smoothly. if the problem persists, its probably something with your throwout bearing or pressure plate
I'm having the exact same problem. Last time it happened to me I was at work so we pushed the car onto a lift disconnected the cable, it checked out. Put a 6ftpry bar on the clutch fork and was barely able to move it so obviously the throw out bearing has lost its lubrication. I'm replacing my tranny next weekso I'm just gonna wait till then.
