I was telling my buddy (who built an 11-second pony) all the work I done in my car and he asked what type of shifter I had.........I answered, "Stock" [&:]

I was up in the air about it for a while....but he laughed so loud that it made my finally go out and buy one

I went with the MGW....

I know there is some adjustment involved.....any tips?

 

There's nothing to it. It comes w/ good instructions

 

read the directions 2 times b4 u start then read it as you install...

 

Did you guys see a big difference in the way it drives?

 

i didnt notice a difference in the way it drives... its less effort to shift tho... seems to always find the gear pretty quick with out even trying... so id say its a good upgrade

Shifting is effortless.... Good upgrade from the rubber mounted stock foot long shifter.

 

I tell you, since I did all the work to my car...I feel like I am really slowed down by the stock shifter.....

I hit it hard....at the top of the tach when it is time to slam it up a gear.....I have to wait or it will grind......

I hope this new shifter will let me bang it in gear, and keep rolling up through the top end
