i want to buy the summit o/r headers but will i pass inspection if i have those and the stock h-pipes on??

 

No summits mustang headers are made by flowtech. Flow tech shorites are alright but don't get there longtubes.

 

is mac any good?? i think im gonna get them the unequals

 

I have heard that the MAC shorties sometimes dont always line up correctly because the flange is not solid. I have BBK unequal ceramic coated shorties and the install was easy. i also did an O/R H- Pipe and flows out the back, sounds great

 

just to make it easy on you get BBK's, I have equal length and were very easy to install. Comes with new header bolts, header gaskets, all smog tubing and H-pipe studs and nuts, everything you need. They are only $194 shipped from brenspeed off ebay for chrome. I got polished ceramic from brothers for $299 shipped. Ceramic won't rust or turn blue plus keeps heat in to add horse. Don't forget to take a die grinder with carbide bit to remove excess metal from welding the flange on the inside.

 

Can anyone tell me if these are for auto or 5speed?? or does it not matter
