I've just got new motor in, 347 replaced 19 inj. with 24s, 76 mas calibrated for 24s 70mm TB.
tried to start many times, but doesnt want to fire, checked timming 2 times, pulled plug wire off, it is firing,
pulled plug out, don't see or smell fuel, schrader valve has fuel to it, pump is running when to key on.
Any help??

did you remember to hook up your injector harness? test the injectors, see if they are opening. do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

yes harness is connected, double checked. don't have presure gauge.factory reg.. hows the best way to check if inj. are opening?

Check the info at this write-up and the links in the page, it has a "Checking a No Start" procedure that should help you ID what could be wrong. LUK

I used starting fluid and it will start. does it sound like fuel reg. does not have enough pressure?

Need to check pressure with a gauge, if pressure is OK (30-45 psi)....need to check the injectors are pulsing.

all you need to check to see if the injectors are pulsing is a noid light it plugs into the harness and flashes if the injectors are getting the signal to fire. no way around checking fuel pressure accuracy without a gauge !!! autozone sells them for 35.00
