Ok the ds is nice to know, less money to spend. Not sure about the spline, which ones better? lol. My mechanic told me his friend just pounded the **** outta his old crossmember, kinda worried me but he said it worked out.
Looked around, new its like 1,900 so i guess it aint that bad

Ok, i was looking around and the 600 is only like 100 bucks more, with a higher overdrive 5th gear (which i like), is there a downside to the 600 with basically a stock car.
Oh and whats the difference between the 10 and 26 spline

it comes with its own shifter, although crappy it will work, you will need a handle for it though.10 spline and 26 spline refers to the count of splines on the input shaft, 10 spline is stock so you can use the clutch you already have. I upgraded to a 26 spline for the added strength
edit, you will need a 31 spline yolk to match the trans, I got mine from brothersperformance

they do price match as well, so if you find it somewhere for cheaper they'll beat it , I ordered parts from several different sites, make sure to shop around and see if you can find it cheaper, for example BP sells the tko bell for 300$, 50resto sells the same bell for 180... always shop around

RE: Tranny gone.....
the difference between the TKO500 and 600 is the input spline count. The 600 had the 26 spline and the 500 has the 10 spline. Thats where the extra 100lb/ft capacity comes from. Really the only downside to the 600 is you will have to buy a new clutch if you were planning on reusing your old one
