compard in price and power and comfort.

also i know this is the wrong place for this but what about the 95+ 4.6 how would you guys rate that compard to the 5.0?

Yeah the 88-93 is the way to go. The 94-95 sn's are good too, but they look too much like a car a mom would drive. No pun intended to anyone that owns one of course.

The 89-93's are way better. They dont handle quite as well but who cares when its a FOX!

The 4.6L began in '96.

Stock vs. stock I believe a Fox would easily take the 94-95 5.0L.

Yep... The fox was just born to live at the track. The sn95's don't get the same traction as the 88-93's... Their weight transfer lacks where the 88-93's have fairly good weight transfer from factory. From what I see at the track, the sn's are usually 3 or 4 mods in, just to keep up with a stock 88-93.

Power wise the fox's are probably a little better, but when you start modding you won't even notice the difference. It's a matter of preference. I love my 95GT...seems to corner better than my dads fox. I don't know where you heard the fox's had better traction, because ive always heard the opposite. I believe the 95's are wider...but not sure about that. If you do go fox definatly go for speed density, and forged pistons. Not sure when the forged pistons were...think 89-92 but not sure.

Anything before 94 looks outdated in my opinion. The fox 3's had a horrible boxy body style. Go with 94 or newer. They improved the platform in 1994.
