Default wheel size

whats the biggest set of rubber i can put on the stock turbine wheels? i know 225 is stock but i thought i read somewhere 245 were possible. is that true? how safe is that?

On a stock fox-body you can put 275 on the back and 245 on the front.

+1 well, 275 with slight mods in some cases. u/l control arms and take off quad shocks.

Seeing as that only a 15x7, the widest Id go is 245. Finding wider sizes in 15" has gotten kind of difficult.
But I did put some 295/50/15 on my 85 once. It wasnt bad as long as your at stock ride height. It would rub in the back slightly on hard cornering. Other than that itwas ok.

I concur that on a 7" wide rim 245 is as wide as I'd go... jmo
