Default Idle Problem

So i am buying a new 88Gt and it has AFR 185 heads and a b-303 cam shaft, but it is still using speed density. It doesn't like to sit and idle like in traffic. Can this problem be sloved with a Mass Air Conversion?

yes cause SD runs off of vacuum and with that cam your losing that amount of vaccum. you can still run you SD but you will have to have your ecm retuned for your combo but its just easier do to hte swap

Here's a cool link. http://www.stangnet.com/tech/maf/massairconversion.html

You can go here to get a Harness for like $60, and go to the junkyard for a MAF, and a computer. I'll sell you MAF from a MK VIII, for 24#'s for $20 + shipping. http://www.pro-flow.com/Gallery%20Fi...0Harnesses.htm

In other words, it should cost you a ton of bucks to get started.
