I agree with you about the confusion... I know for a fact that with my clutch fan not working properly my car will start overheating if I sit still for to long at a light or in traffic. I need to get a controller for my 3.8 Taurtus fan and get it hooked up.

yea i think thats whats wrong my fan clutch because i can spin it with my hand and the fan clutch on my friends coupe is hard. ill let u guys know whats going on

Is there any way you can put your friends clutch fan on your car and try it out, see if that cures the problem, then you will know what to replace for sure.
