My buddy and i have started our project drag race car and have purchased two cars to build into one. We have a 1988 GT vert as the doner car. Paid $700 We just picked up a clean 93 notch 4 cyl to become the final racer.

The Notch has manual windows and locks it's never been wrecked and is real clean. The 88 vert has a stormin normon forced air hood with air box and 373 gears and aluminum drive shaft. Rebuild tranny witha ahift kit of some kind. I think it was a steal at $850.

I am a serious mustang head and I have built a up a few cars with 302 motors, but this time i want to go allitle faster if you know what i mean. We are planning to tear down the motor before we put it into the notch and do some machine work. Maybe 306 or 331. whats the popular vote on engine size between 306 or 331.

I plan on posting pictures and keeping this forum open for help during this build.

There is so much to do in a 302 swap. This should be real cool.
