I know this might be the wrong forum but i will give it a shot... I absolutely love mustangs... and i highly respect them for drag racing purposes... but here is my problem.. i am building a toyota supra drag car.. now i know all of you guys like to make fun of supras for being highway and dyno queens.. and so do i.. and i want to do something about it.. so the first thing that has to go is the rear end.. it has an independent setup stock with a 4:30 lsd... i know a guy that does custom rear end work for fox bodies and he said he could custom install a live axel in my car... i was thinking about a ford 9" with a detroit locker... now it has a 4:30 diff in it now it it tops out at about 165-170 mph.. and i will be trapping about 125-135mph in the quarter.. so im thinking of going with some 4:56's... so does this sound like a good drag setup?? you guys know better than anyone... and also some sort of frim springs will be needed for a good launch.. and i do have sicks too.. thanks for you input guys...and please dont flame me and call me a ricer.. i respect you guys very much and i just need some help.. i appriciate it very much.. thanks</P>

haha its cool man... i hate ricers too...<IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0">.. i figure some of you 5.0 guys are drag racing experts... everyone else who owns a supra doesnt give a s**t about drag racing because out cars arent set-up for it and no one wants to do anything about it.. o well. i will show all them... thanks in advance for any help
