hi.., i have a few questions. i barely bought a 88 LX 5.0 and its a convertible. point is it needs a new top, and alsowhen i put the top down it sits pretty high. anyone have any ideas why it sits high or anygood convertible top companies out there..?

 

There are some things that could be wrong, the frame is binding, the pump is low on fluid, could have an obstruction in the top well. Make sure you return the latchest to the closed positon when you lower the top. Come on over to the Convertible sub forum under General Tech. We can help you out.

 

Can you fill the pump up with oil? and what kind if possible? I split a hose and some leaked out. I fixed the hose. Thanks
