Default Won't start after rebuild

My combo is the gt40 racing engine with cobra intake,30lb injectors and other mods. Battery was hooked up backwards initially. I replaced the selenoid and couple of fuses and now turns over. Fuel pressure around 38. Replaced coil and igintion module still will not start. Both wires at coil have 12 volts? Is this right or is one ground. I also am wondering if distributor is placed right. Any help would be great. Thanks.

yes both wires have 12 volts. Could I have blown the eec or power relay. Both sides on or off the coil with key in the on position have 12 volts.

one of the wires needs to be ground. the coil itself should have markings on it.
