Default RE: fuel problem?

Okay so I pulled the distributor and changed the TFI module. Got fire, got compression, and if the fuel system will pressurize she starts and sounds as mean as ever. The problem is that the fuel system doesnt seem to pressurize all the time. You may turn the key and the pump whines for a couple seconds. You do it again and it whines for maybe 30 seconds. OR you may turn the key and the pump will whine until you shut the key off however long you choose to leave the key on. I am showing between 38 and 40 pounds of fuel pressure at the valve so where do I go from here?

may want to check the fuel filter and see if it's partially clogged.... the fuel pump should only run for a few seconds when you initially turn the car on as to build up pressure in the system no matter how many times you switch the key on and off 2 -3 second pulse usually.... if it keeps running you may have a relay sticking which I beleave the pump relay is under the drivers seat or a problem with the ecm as the ecm I believe controls the ground side of the relay.....not sure though without looking at a wiring diagram
