ecc IV codes - need help

Default ecc IV codes - need help

I have a 92 lx 5.0 was driving earlier and my SES light came on then went off briefly, My light used to come on and go off so I recently changed both my O2 sensors and haven't had a problem since (about 2 months ago) now Its giving me o2 codes again as before here is the codes I got (Key On Engine Off)

158 - MAF signal voltage too high
172 - HEGO lean bank 1
175 - HEGO not switching bank 2
176 - HEGO lean bank 2
189 - HEGO lean during part throttle bank 2
54 - ACT or VAT signal too high
254 - not listed in my book???

any help is greatly appreciated.. thanks all[/align]

sounds like you have a lean condition and based on the maf code, I'd try cleaning the maf sensor with maf cleaner quick easy try or replace maf sensor

also make sure you don't have any vaccum leaks which are usually indicated by a slightly rough idle and or sometimesa high idle on a fuel injectedcar .

If yours is a '92.....the codes are in the 2-digit format, 3-digit codes format is for SN95's and are not mixed....it's either one or the other, not both. Suggest to redo the KOEO and follow the pattern examples you will see at DIY KOEO/KOER/Cylinder Balance Self-Test ....

The MAF voltage too high and lean HEGOs(oxygen sensors) were both caused by my fuel pump going bad.

You're working with the wrong set of codes.....and may be worrying about problems that are non-existent.....just a thought.
