My carbed '84 H/B is 2860 with 185# of me in it.
Aluminum raditor, heads, intake, Weld wheels, lightwieght seat, no HVAC stuff, manual steering, manual brakes, glass hood. no carpet.etc.........
Still on stock type front suspension.........

i wouldnt remove the sway bars, u will regret it one day in the rain!! my 93 2.3l didnt have a rear sway and it was all over the place in the rain and when dry till i put a gt sway on it, huge improvement!! i would never drive a fox without sways, u might just get lighter ones if they exist, also look for lighter rims, most stockers are pretty thick and heavy get a tubular k member that will drop like 100lbs right there! i think anywaysalso u need to research weight tranfer and stuff cus u dont want to lose weight in the wrong areas or ur car wount hook up good when u take off

i wont be driving this car in the rain, and its not a dd so i dont have to worry about the sways. but i iwll let you all know what the car weighs after i am done the 351w and all my weight reduction, thanks all.

im in the process of lighitng mine up also.. I got alumin heads, no smog,ac,or power steering, tube k and soon to be tube a arms and coil overs. i got light drag wheels 3 inch wide up front and 8-9 in the back cant remember right now.. , no spair tire jack , also remvoing back seat and putting in the delete kit not sure if this will help on weight ill let you guys know..I got fiberglass hood and would love to have fiberglass hatch.. the back windows in out cars are pretty heavy to.. I got aluminum flywheel, driveshaft no sway bars, but down side if the sfi mcleod bellhousing i bought weighs twce as much as the stock one.. but i can asure nothing will come past it lol.. Thats all ive done as of now.. ill let you kno what it weighs soons its done and at the track.
