Should I stick with my edelbrock cam/e cam since its here looking at me or should I do something else since I only wanna do this once? And I do want a mean idle out of it, just not so mean that I can't drive it everyday.

have comp cams grind you a custom cam or recommend one for you. it will be cheaper than a ford cam ayway.

KORN.....I wouldn't use that cam....the guy you talked to didn't do his job correctly...you need more lift on the exhaust not just duration....I would go less lift some like 490ish-510ish and on the same 112 cl lunati has several cams in this range....what intake will be used,headers,gears,trans,mass,t/b,pistons(stock)? I hope the guy asked you these question..when cam are comcern bigger is not better in a everyday driven car..you want no driveablity problems and be fun to drive...right?

THats right, no driveability problems and fun to drive. I will be using a Prof Prod TYphoon intake, I have shorty headers and o/r h-pipe, I've got 3.55's, WC T-5, 76mm maf, 65mm tb, stock pistons (I have an 88GT).....what do you think? Also, would the F cam be a good one or should I just go with something else? I was wondering about that Lunati cam with .536 lift, I thought it would be too much.

yea you might have clearance problems i run a .530 lift but my pistons are flycut. but it sounds real good at idle and the car screams.

so, have you install a mass air system or still using the den. one?..also are the heads stock?... I run a lunati cam 575-593..with a 110 c/l in my s/c car..haven't tuned it as I went from a 545/563 cam from crane
anyway if you have the stock setup then I would just bolt on some 1.72's rocker and leave it stock til you can do so..
