cars surging alot at low speeds and idles funny when cold, pulled the code from check engine light code 63 - throttle position sensor or circuit.

is this just the voltage out of range? or time for a new TPS?
havent had a chance to check voltage yet, but it was fine when
this throttle body and sensor was in my last car so i dont see it changing
all of a sudden

 

Those TPS' are prone to go bad. I wouldn't rule it out. But best to double check the voltage before you go out an get another one.
